Privacy
The short version: what you put in your family's ledger is seen only by the people in your family's ledger. We don't sell your information, show ads, or use tracking cookies. You can delete your account yourself at any time.
What we collect
- Your email address, so we can send you sign-in links and codes.
- What you and your family enter: names, the faces you build, money spent, time given, categories, notes, dates, monthly bills, paybacks, to-dos, chat messages, and receipt photos.
- Sentences you give the "Just say it" box. If you use the Talk button, your phone or browser turns your speech into text first (for example, Apple's or Google's speech service), and only the text reaches us.
- Basic technical records our providers keep automatically, like IP address, browser type and the time of a request, used for security and fixing problems.
Notes and receipts can include health details, like a medication name. Please don't upload full medical records. This ledger isn't built to store them.
Who can see it
- People in your family's ledger. Everyone who joins with your invite link can see and change the ledger and read the chat. Anyone else, including people in other families, can't see any of it.
- The companies that run the service for us:
- Supabase stores the ledger, receipt photos and sign-in details.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Anthropic reads sentences from the "Just say it" box to suggest entries. Anthropic says that, by default, it doesn't use data sent through its commercial products to train its models.
- An email provider delivers sign-in emails.
- Legal requests. We'd share information only if the law requires it.
What stays on your device
Your browser or app keeps your sign-in and a few preferences, like the last tab you opened. That's what keeps you signed in. We don't use advertising or analytics trackers.
Deleting things
- Any entry, to-do or message you sent can be deleted in the app.
- Your whole account: go to the Team tab and choose Delete my account. That removes your sign-in, your name, your chat messages, and any ledger where you're the only member. In a ledger you share with family, the money and time entries stay, because they're part of the family's shared record. They're no longer linked to your account.
- Deleted information can stay in our providers' backups for a short time before it's gone for good.
Children
Sibling Care Ledger is for adults caring for a family member. It isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll say so in the app.
